This juice is perfect after a heavy mean or during summer afternoons. It is refreshing and boosts digestion. Lemon juice also detoxifies your body. Here is how you can make refreshing Lemon juice with Mint.
Ingredients (mint lemonade)
- Water (550ml) – For two people.
- Brown sugar (1/4 cup).
- Lemon juice (4 tablespoon)
- Mint Leaves (15-20).
- Salt (1 tablespoon).
Firstly, pick the mint leaves and wash them with cold water. Add water, sugar, ginger (sliced or shredded), lemon juice and the washed mint leaves together in a bowl. You can also grind this mixture in a juicer or food processor. Add salt to taste. Strain the water into a jug or a glass and serve it. If you feel the lemon mint juice isn’t cool enough, you can add ice to it. While serving in glasses, add lime slices and whole (2-3) mint leaves on top.
Note: Don’t keep the juice after preparation for long. As the green color of mint will fade to brown and won’t look appetizing enough.
